Piano Tuition in English - in France
Now in its FOURTEENTH! * successful year, the Normandy Piano Week course is unique in offering serious amateur pianists the ideal environment in which to develop and raise the level of their playing.
The course is limited to 9 participants, and each participant has at least two hours of sympathetic tuition a day, and unlimited use of a piano throughout the whole day.
The course is set in the splendid Chateau Flamanville that is gradually being restored to its former glory. In 2012 the course will run from the afternoon of Friday 7th September to the afternoon of Thursday 13th September.
Alternatively, there is the possibility of attending for three days only. Tuition will primarily be in English although there may be some French participants, as the piano week is being run in association with CEPIA - the French association for the promotion of amateur instrumental music.
Michael Stembridge is running a one day course titled AN INTRODUCTION TO THE PIANO METHOD OF ALFRED CORTOT in London on 20th May 2012. Click here for details.
