The Chateau of Flamanville is situated about a twenty five minute drive from the channel port of Cherbourg on the north west side of the Cotentin peninsula.
Ports at Caen-Ouistreham and Le Havre are approximately at a two to two and a half hour's drive. The port of St Malo is about 90 minutes by car.
The drive from Paris is approximately four hours while the train journey from Paris to Cherbourg is around three hours.
Barneville Carteret is easily accessible from the Channel Islands.
A taxi service direct to the Hotel Bel Air is offered to participants who travel as foot passengers on the Portsmouth-Cherbourg ferry. Long stay parking is possible at the Portsmouth ferry terminal.
